The property is located on the north end of Market Street. The property was once owned (1910-1940s) by Joseph A. Frantz a Market Street grocer. Original structure no longer stands. The property has had various owners since about 1952.
Masonic Temple Building was built in the early 1927. First, the building housed the Ohio Valley Bank on the street level and various offices on upper floors. The building was purchased by the Masonic Temple Company in 1987. Now the U S Bank is in the lower level.
