Description

Black and white photo negative of local children participating in Auto Derby for the annual Kids Day in July 1939. Kids Day was an annual program sponsored by the area Civic Forum that helped keep children out of trouble and give them something to do for the Fourth of July. There were races and fun activities like fireworks. Donations were also taken up for the Fire Departments Christmas Toy Fund.
