Richard Cowdrey Meet & Greet

Engage in conversation with bestselling author and illustrator, Richard Cowdrey, as he shares his inspiration behind the Fiona the Hippo books. Copies of books will be available to purchase and have signed. This event is free and for all ages.

Richard is from Cincinnati, Ohio and is a graduate from the Columbus College of Art & Design. Along with his devotion to children’s book artwork, Richard has enjoyed working with galleries and individuals on commissioned pieces, as well as traveling with his wife Cindy across the country speaking at schools about his interesting journey.

This event is part of the Books Build Bridges Program that is sponsored by Fluor-BWXT, Portsmouth LLC, Ohio Arts Council, Rotary Club of Portsmouth, Scioto County Public Library, Scioto Foundation, Shawnee State University, and South Central Ohio ESC.
