The Portsmouth Library Foundation is a non-profit corporation established to support, promote, and encourage library services, activities, and facilities of the Portsmouth Public Library. The purpose of the Foundation is also:

TO ENHANCE RESOURCES BEYOND PUBLIC FUNDING

TO ATTRACT AND KEEP THE BEST LIBRARIANS

TO PROVIDE STATE OF THE ART TECHNOLOGICAL RESOURCES

TO INCREASE THE TRADITIONAL COLLECTION

"How will the Portsmouth Library achieve its goal to support and encourage library services, activities, and facilities?"

ASSIGNMENT OF A LIFE INSURANCE POLICY

ANNUITIES OR CHARITABLE TRUSTS

CASH CONTRIBUTIONS

A gift to the Library Foundation is the perfect tribute to anyone, or from anyone, who loves reading and knowledge. It is a meaningful way to honor the recipient and benefit the community at the same time.

Regardless of the means you choose for your contribution, the Portsmouth Library Foundation will promptly acknowledge your gift to you and to anyone else that you designate. In the case of a memorial book, you will also be notified when it is placed in the collection.

Private contributions help the Portsmouth Public Library meet the growing needs of our community by providing important books and other materials and services. A gift to the Portsmouth Library Foundation, in whatever form or proportion, is a gift of knowledge!
